Token Shows as Invalid

Symptom

My token shows as invalid.

Applies To

  • Session Connect 
  • Invalid Token 

Resolution

When this issue happens, check on the following:

  • Make sure you are using the latest OpenTok server SDK.
  • Validate your Token with our credential validator tool to ensure that the Session and Token are not mismatched. 
  • Lastly, check your subscription status on your account portal to make sure your subscription hasn't been cancelled due to a billing issue which can usually occur after 3 payment failures.
